I`m so very, very blue. |
Picasso's era of blue was widely regarded as the beginning of his era of brilliance. Due to electronic failure on the part of our Canon Digital Elph, our blue era has likewise begun. Now, all we need is a rally of brilliance and we'll be in business.
True Perplexing fans have noticed a sharp drop in photo quality over the past two months and rightly wondered why. After literally 8,000 photos only as flawed as the cameraman our Canon now refuses to fire... shoot? Well, call it what you like but my sadness and my photos alike can both be summed up in a single word, "blue."
We've been giddiously happy with our clicky, pointy, shouty camera over past years. It's way beyond warranty now and pictures shot in modest light or with any sort of flash are now totally blues and, despite the manual, without any clues.
When the time comes, we're getting another Canon. Even the guy at the photo lab who did our enlargements said the optics are second to none. That time is, sadly, not today as we're just broke and lowly writers. As much as we'd like to beg the donation of a camera, we're more intent to beg your patience, as forthcoming photos will be of a level of quality we can agree is sub-par.
But as every crowd has a pilfer lining, our age of unfortunately tinted photos will surely mean the beginning of our age of unbridled, unrivaled genius. I've been doing this whole reporting/journalizing business my whole life; now's my time to shine (as the corner of my forehead should indicate).
