When grandma told dad she was handing down her old dresser for the benefit of us juniors, I was thrilled. No more dressing myself and no more reliance on the grown-ups... but maybe I've missed the point once again because this thing doesn't dress me at all. |

When you go to visit Astoria, Oregon, you have to check out the merriment of the maritime museum. As we gladly did, you can see boats, handily pat these same boats, and scream "ahoy!" at whatever it is you see from one of several mocked up ship bridges. |

The fine proprietors of Marsh's Free Museum in Longbeach, Washington have been waiting for us to show up since 1921. They've been reviewed by everybody from USA Today to Weekly World News, but we're obviously the grand daddy* of them all that they've been waiting for. |
