Plasti-Santa Ain't Kidding Nobody
Posted Saturday, December 23 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
I've seen Santa Claus a bunch of times in my life, but never have I seen one as appealing and obviously fake as this one. I was at the mall, the sort of place I understand that the "real" Santa comes to visit on a regular basis, but this guy wasn't just "not Santa" I'm not even sure he was human. |

As the holidays continue their on-winding, we keep going out to see more and more of the "traditional" holiday events and attractions. I love candy, ice cream, an assortment of meats and carb-rich products like pasta and potatoes, but sometimes I'm not as hungry as I am interested in a teeny-tiny tasty snack. In such times, all I want is a smidgeon of Chap Stick™ on my lips to sniff, feel and gobble up all gone. |

Seasons Shift, Let it Slush, Let it Slush, Let it Slush
Posted Monday, December 18 @ 02:00:00 PST by Dominic
If you don't know how it is when custody is split, consider that Mother Nature is all about flowers and berries but Old Man Winter is all about driving... even when conditions are bad. I don't know what any of that means, but I know the latest storm cell blew in nasty conditions and ushered in the holiday season with his own brand of cold, the slush season. |

Christmas Lights Brighten Nights and Spirits
Posted Sunday, December 17 @ 03:00:00 PST by Brendan
With the season of bluster and St. Nicolas upon us, it seems like everybody except for their brothers are putting of Christmas light displays. Although we live in something of a holly-jolly void, we still managed to find such a house with relative ease, and it was worth every penny we didn't have to pay to see it. |
