Protesters Speak Out from 'Free Speech Corners'
Posted Friday, January 19 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
Area protesters have been up in arms with protest signs bearing all sorts of messages but, ever more frequently, such activists have seen their rights to free speech suspiciously abridged in ways considered unconstitutional by the likes of the ACLU et al. These so called "free speech zones" are unfair, unjust and unfun all around. |

Halloween Long Gone, Never Forgotten
Posted Thursday, January 18 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
With Halloween now little more than a fond and distant memory of my ever-fading remembrance, I still think back often and look back fondly on this past Halloween, and even reflect on other Halloweens past. Halloween is so much fun for us kids that it deserves remembering, so I'll take this opportunity to wrap all my past Halloweens into a single summary for your love, joy and appreciation. |

Newest Photographer Struggles Under Steep Learning Curve
Posted Wednesday, January 17 @ 10:00:00 PST by Brendan
A week or so ago, who can be troubled to remember such trivialities as calendar-based dates, save for my editorial staff, who are apparently absent in this editorial oversight, my eldest (and only elder) brother Patrick has chosen to take on a greater role around the Perplexing Times office. I've seen IMAX movies, but never 3D ones, but today these innovative studios have done something entirely unique; they're putting my brother in their posters. |

Posted Friday, January 12 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
I'm a curious boy, and I always have been, so let me ask you a quick, simple question. Better yet, let me ask you five-hundred quick, simple questions, and you know it's going to be easy because all half-thousand of them are the same, though fired off as rapidly as I'm able; the question is "why?" |

Reflecting on Christmas: A Summary
Posted Thursday, January 11 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
Perplexing Times has been online now for almost four-years, and we've published some 1,200 articles during our publicatious tenure, so it's unavoidable that there would have been at least a handful of handfuls of Christmas articles in the mix along the way, though I'll let you in on a little not-so-secret... it's been far more than that. |
