Tuesday Shroved Promo Pancakes for Charity
Posted Wednesday, February 21 @ 03:00:00 PST by Brendan
Everyone I know hates Mondays, but Tuesdays we could take or leave. They're no Fridays and they certainly aren't Sundays, so if it has to be a Tuesday, which it does more than 14% of the time, something pretty special has to happen, and IHOP has done it for us once again.

Slumping Snowman Proves Slush Too Warm to Mold
Posted Friday, February 16 @ 02:00:00 PST by Dominic
As far as the weather goes, it's been a weird one around here this winter. We've had so much freezing our senior dad-man suffered a horrific ice-related injury, so much rain we're becoming amphibious, and so many snowstorms we're half-wondering if we might be Canadian, eh?

Brother-Lantern Loves Jacko-Toy Like Hallow-Crazy
Posted Thursday, February 15 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
There has been a rumor floating around these internets for sometime now that a brother -- some would say he is my very own -- who is a clever, handsome boy and loves like crazy an assortment of toys, not the least of which is the goofy one he may (or may not) actually have in his hands in this picture. It's crazy indeed, so please read on.

Sword-Guy Most Desired Profession Amongst Youth
Posted Tuesday, February 13 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
As a member of this "youth" demographic myself, I consider my opinion to carry tremendous weight. So when I proudly proclaimed that I wished to join the sword-guy ranks I figured I'd be taken serious. Toddler guidance counselors, of whom there are none, were unavailable to tell me I was dreaming.

Ape Endures Tiny Cage, Drives Merely Modest Shoe-Car
Posted Monday, February 12 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
As any of your smallish, household primates may tell you, we love monkeys. When we find them, we embrace them, and not just because they love bananas* as much as we do, but because they embody so many other traits in common with us. Sometimes, however, we empathize with their pains in ways I'm hard pressed to explain.

Northwest Puppet Center Presents Aesop's Fables
Posted Friday, February 09 @ 01:00:00 PST by Brendan
Thistle Theater puppet players proudly present Aesop's Fables, a series of tales apparently as old as antiques themselves, but not the old garbage my dad has around from his childhood, but actual antiquity times, which is to say about as old as time itself, or about half as old as all of earth's history, according to strict Christian interpreters.
