Toogle Spells Google Pictures Out in Words
Posted Wednesday, June 13 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Brendan
Of all the odd things you might find on the web, Toogle is about as peculiar as they come. Partly because it takes that which is known and converts it to something off-kilter, and partly because it doesn't just let you do it, it forces you to pick your pictures through that whole Google thingy. |

Discovery Park Seattle Leads to Fun, Discovery
Posted Tuesday, June 12 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Dominic
We always like doing new, fun things, but when they're free, we love them that much more. Discovery Park is one of those hundred-years-defunct canon emplacements that used to guard the way into the harbor, but now it's just prime real estate wasted for the benefit of free-stuff-loving citizens like me. |

Woodland Park ZooMazium Simply Zoo-Mazing
Posted Monday, June 11 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Dominic
People love things, but what people love most are animals, and the people who love them most are me and my fellow Perplexing Times staff members. But when it comes to the Woodland Park Zoo, it's easy to see how the glamour of the non-animalian might overtake those more meaty in nature. If you haven't seen ZooMazium, you can't yet get it, but there's no better time to check it out than now. |

Turns out the fun folks at KidsQuest see it the same way, so every Friday is free from five to eight pee-em. |

Man-Monkey Fails to Hear, Smell, Squint Evil
Posted Thursday, June 07 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Brendan
As a greater monkey -- and I don't mean it with any sort of unduly unaccredited evolutionarily entitled manners -- I know I'm a good primate. Sure, I don't chuck the random hunks of my own monkey pooh all about my habitat, but then again, my cage is better than theirs, and I get even better stimulation in my own. No less, you can still count me as a monkey that hears not, sniffs not, and squints no evil. |

Preschool Drum Recital Hide-Bangingly Delightful
Posted Wednesday, June 06 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Brendan
On the eve or my last day of first-school, the school I go to each morning, as opposed to my second school, the one I go to in the afternoon, we had a great little recital. We practiced for an undetermined period of time, practicing with drums, and then on the big night we came back and performed the whole shebang live for our friends, family and anybody else who could be bothered to watch us arhythmically bang on an assortment of simple drums. |

Birthday Gone, Embarrassing Sombrero Pix Remain
Posted Tuesday, June 05 @ 02:00:00 PDT by Dominic
I know it isn't my birthday anymore, but I had such a good time and I promised to cling to the waning remnants of it the best I could, so the fact that this embarrassing Polaroid of my biggest of big days still lies about fully justifies my writing about it yet one last time. Well, maybe not "last" but "most recent" and that's just about good enough for me. |
